USB Device Test

A free browser USB device diagnostic. Helps you verify a specific USB device (barcode scanner, payment terminal, signature pad, or other HID device) is recognized by this browser through WebUSB or WebHID. Useful for confirming a device is wired up and the browser can see it before debugging a vendor app.

Privacy: WebUSB and WebHID by design only expose devices you explicitly select in a browser dialog. No device data is transmitted off the workstation. View source to verify.

Driver: WebUSB + WebHID APIs

Takes about 20 seconds. Each device must be explicitly approved by you in a browser chooser; nothing is read without your click.
